In the run-up to the FESTIVAL OF REGIONS, a call was put out in Marchtrenk, seeking for unwelcome gifts that were accepted but never wished for. Residents could contact the Gift Museum collection point to unburden themselves.
At the beginning of the FESTIVAL OF REGIONS, the Museum of Unwelcome Gifts will be inaugurated with a vernissage, and will be open daily for visitors during the festival. Concurrently, there will be a programme with workshops and presentations on the subject of “gifting”.
