The title refers to an actual person: in the 1950s, a woman showed up in the township of Marchtrenk, attracting attention by her being different in manners and looks. She was named “Auprinzessin”.
What happens if something unwanted suddenly is back outside the door camouflaged as art? The project auprinzessin brings back what is no longer wanted: bulky waste and odds and ends are given new contexts and applications. Thus modified, they reappear in Marchtrenk’s public space.
