A culinary leap in time combines the seriousness of sauerkraut with tropical grooves. The centerpiece is the Frühschoppen installation: in a newly designed food truck, which is more than just a kitchen, history is preserved and the future is prepared. Prepare for days of “social fermentation”, where curious conversations meet playful snacks, all served with a dash of mambo beats. Workshops like “Berry Pleased to Eat You!” or “Deep- Fried Utopia: The Future is Fluffy” take participants on a journey into the fascinating world of food production – with a creative twist you won’t see coming. It all culminates in a Frühschoppen – a feast where past, present, and future come together. In this grand finale, an Austro-Caribbean music ensemble joins forces with us to create a shared banquet of sound, flavor, and social fermentation. And let’s not forget the specially brewed exotic beer – developed in collaboration with local brewery Pfesch, exclusively for this event – ready to tickle your taste buds, spark your imagination, and maybe even shift your perception of reality.
