Paul Zauner’s Peace Hike Project

The Peace Hike Project, initiated by Paul Zauner (Inntöne Jazzfestival) in cooperation with Andreas Mühlleitner (Edition Panoptikum), aims to carry peace TOGETHER into the world and through the Innviertel.

A hike from Braunau along the Inn to Schärding is planned. There will be a big closing event on the town square in Schärding. The hike starts on Sun, 15.6.2025 at 9.30 am in Braunau and ends on Tue, 17.6.2025 in the afternoon in Schärding.

The individual stages of the hike are between 1 and 3 hours, with breaks and a cultural program in between. It is possible to join the hike at any time, and it is also possible to walk only a shorter section.

And that’s where you come in: Convinced by the idea of peace, we would like to invite as many people as possible to join us and actively participate! This could be a choir that walks part of the route and sings three songs at the break area, a school class that schedules the walking day on this date and makes banners for peace, a theater group that prepares a text on peace and then performs it, a group of friends who use this event to meet again and join in together for the message of peace….andandand…
