Save the Dates: März
March is going to be exciting!
On March 20, our 36-page festival magazine will be published as a supplement to the KUPF newspaper. The magazine will give you a first taste of what visitors can expect at FdR*25 in the Innviertel. More detailed information on the content and how you can secure a copy will be available in the next newsletter and soon on our website.
March 20 is not the only date in March to make a note of: on March 14 at 6 p.m., selected artists will give an insight into their projects at the Center for Interculturality, Coexistence and Participation (ZIMT) Braunau – the event is aimed at communities that work with the meeting center.
Educators of all school levels will also be given a first insight on Friday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Biersiederhaus Braunau in Linzerstraße 14. Ulla Steyrleuthner & Katharina Spanlang will present the FdR school program, which includes exciting art projects and interactive workshops for elementary schools, lower and upper grades. Visitors can also look forward to a short show act. We look forward to the exchange – please register at ulla.steyrleuthner@fdr.at.
There will be even more opportunities for exchange on April 9. Then the town square in Braunau will become a hotspot for exchange, ideas and encounters – our festival office “BüroREAL” will open its doors. More information will follow, but one thing is certain: you won’t want to miss it!
Finally, we would like to draw your attention to an event organized by our partner “KUKI – Kunst und Kultur im Innviertel”. The Peace Hike project, initiated by Paul Zauner (Inntöne Jazzfestival) in cooperation with Andreas Mühlleitner (Edition Panoptikum), aims to bring peace to the world and through the Innviertel region.
A hike from Braunau along the Inn to Schärding is planned. The hike starts on June 15 at 9:30 am and ends on Tuesday, June 17 in the afternoon in Schärding. The individual stages of the hike will take between one and three hours, with breaks and a cultural program in between.
Convinced by the idea of peace, KUKI and we would like to invite as many people as possible to join us and actively participate!
This could be a choir that walks part of the route and sings three songs at the break, a school class that schedules the walking day on this date and makes banners for peace, a theater group that prepares a text on peace and then performs it, a group of friends who use this event to meet again.
