The performance Deep Rest is based on a recurring dream of the artist, in which she stands outside, wrapped only in her blanket. Based on this experience, she developed a live performance that blurs the boundaries between privacy and public space. Dressed in sleepwear, she leaves her bed in Linz, boards the train, and travels to the festival center in Braunau – audiences can accompany her along the way. The performance will be broadcast live on DORFTV, with public screenings at the festival center and at the Old Town Hall and the Linz Art Hall. By bringing her bed – a place of rest and retreat – into the public sphere, the artist questions notions of productivity and idleness.
