Kunst & Kultur im Innviertel
The Innviertel is characterized by its diversity, be this scenic, economic, but above all cultural. The aim of the LEADER project “Kunst & Kultur im Innviertel” is to bring associations, cultural initiatives, choirs, orchestras, theater groups and artists of all genres together under one roof and shine a light on them. Very few of the more than 200 associations and institutions in the region have been in contact with each other up until now, and the abundance of events was sometimes somewhat confusing. “Kunst & Kultur im Innviertel” aims to improve networking between the players and thus make them more visible. To this end, a podcast was recorded with creative artists (available on YouTube or at innviertel.at/podcast) and a joint website and the “KunstStückWerk” brochure were initiated. In addition, a permanent contact point for cultural professionals in the region is to be created.
Inn/4 Pride
The cultural association „KiK Kunst im Keller“ is organizing a Pride Parade in Ried im Innkreis together with “Kunst und Kultur Innviertel” as part of the Festival of Regions. Our goal is to offer a safe space in which LGBTQIA+ people can be visible and create a basis for networking so that a queer community can establish itself in the Innviertel region.
On June 7, the parade will start at 1:30 pm and pass through the center of Ried. A rally will follow at the market square with music, poetry slam and speeches. A children’s program and barrier-free access should make it possible for everyone to be there on this day. KiK invites you to the afterparty until the wee small hours of the morning. Everyone is welcome to join us. Together we want to set an example of lived diversity in the Innviertel.
