
Seit 1. April 2024 trennt der Inn nicht nur Österreich und Bayern, sondern auch zwei Sprachregeln: offiziell gendern darf man seither nur auf einer Seite des Flusses. Grenzen waren und sind immer Orte des Austausches und der Kommunikation. Worte sind leichter als Luft und so ermöglicht „Flying Borders“ das Kommunizieren über unsere eigenen Grenzen hinweg. Diese Installation macht Grenzen überwindbar, verbindet Menschen durch Wort und Klang und hinterfragt mit Augenzwinkern, wem Sprache gehört.

Paul David Daubek-Puza, born 2000 in Tamsweg, is an architecture student at the University of Art and Design Linz. As part of the collective “architECTS only”, he has already implemented projects such as “Pulmo Pneu” and “Can you wait and feel me breath” as part of the exhibition “Langer Atem- Atemzonen” at Lentos 2024. His works reflect desires and visions coupled with history and complex themes. Through color and form, these take up space and thus become accessible to others.
Celina Maria Sikora, born in Grieskirchen in 2002, has been training to be a primary school teacher at the PH OÖ since 2024 and previously completed a bachelor’s degree in sociology at the JKU. Her first short novel, “Flickenjahr”, was published in 2023 and resulted from a writing competition. Together with Paul David Daubek-Puza, she created a period product dispenser for public spaces in 2023, entitled “Nim mi mid, wennst mi brauchst”.
Clara Sophia Daubek-Puza, born in Linz in 2004, has been performing as a slam poet in Upper Austria and internationally since the fall of 2022. She took part in the ENRS’s “Sound-in-the-Silence” project in Gusen-Mauthausen in October 2022. In March 2023, she competed in the Upper Austrian/Salzburg Championships and in October of the same year in the U20 Championships in Frankfurt am Main. She was nominated for the Upper Austrian/Salzburg Championships in February 2025. Since fall 2023, she has been studying German language and literature at the KF University in Graz.
