Opening + Special Train
The Festival of Regions will open on Friday, June 23, 2023.
For the very curious, there is a TRAIN TOUR starting from Linz Central Station from noon, where you can already take a look at some of the projects along the route. For those who only have time later, there is the INAUGURAL RIDE with the FdR*TRAIN. Passengers can board at selected stations. Those who are already part of the TRAIN TOUR will board the INAUGURAL RIDE with the FdR*TRAIN in Kefermarkt.
Together, we will then head north to Horní Dvořiště for the official opening party and various artistic interventions. One of these special artistic interventions comes from the Master’s program Tangible Music Lab at the University of Art and Design Linz, and the other from the Czech gallery Sladovna.
Afterwards, you can decide whether to head back home or if there is still energy left for the after-party in St. Georgen an der Gusen at the Cultural Association Tribüne.
