Räume für Träume

Spaces for Dreams. How can dreams – big and small, personal and collective – be captured, made visible, and perhaps even realized? Spaces for Dreams invites people to share their wishes for themselves, their surroundings, or the future with us. Some dreams may seem utopian, others very concrete – we take them all seriously.
A mobile Office for (Un)realistic Dreams travels through Braunau, Obernberg, Ried, and Schärding. On site, dreams can be written down, drawn, or told. A local committee sorts through them: which ones are feasible? Which require creative detours? Which inspire reflection?
As a grand finale, we celebrate all the collected dreams with a performance in Palmpark, Braunau: wish cards are transformed in fire – not as an ending, but as a spark for new possibilities. A poetic-surrealistic happening with music and dance, turning dreams and visions into artistic experiences.

The Innviertel collective kunst:dünger is known for its ‘art festivals’, which it has been organising at different locations for almost 20 years. A broad programme of installations, sculpture, painting, photography, performances, theatre projects, literature and music presents contributions and interpretations on a selected theme at each of these events. Statements critical of the system and society, philosophical positions, poetic and humorous observations and provocative perspectives direct our perceptions towards the inner and outer worlds of our time.
