Open to everyone, and open to culture along the way: as part of the “Festival of Regions”, jazz trombonist Paul Zauner, in coordination with photographer Andreas Mühlleitner, organizes a peace hike from Braunau to Schärding. The hike will take place over three consecutive days (June 15-17), divided into seven one- to three-hour stages. The route runs along the Inn past picturesque spots such as Frauenstein Castle, Obernberg Castle and Reichersberg Abbey. Music, singing, recitals and readings are planned at various locations – and as many different people as possible, including musicians, writers, actors, dancers, school classes, kindergarten groups, and choirs, are invited to take part. The intention of the organizers: to carry the Peace of Braunau out into the world.
