This festival is an invitation to think, feel, and create together. Our program is a collaborative fabric of artistic interventions that explore the unexpected and forge new connections. A test garden for ideas that grow and travel onward. We dig into forgotten memories, artistically process history, and ask questions of the future. In our Mischmaschinn (creative fusion machine), perspectives collide, rub against each other, blend – and give rise to new ways of being together.

Between border river and concrete bridge, between pub halls and empty storefronts, a space opens up for realistic dreams. When utopias touch the ground – with dust on their feet and a sparkle in their eyes.

The Festival of the Regions 2025 invites you to get involved, to co-dream, to resonate. Artists, communities, and initiatives from the region and beyond will turn Braunau and other locations in Innviertel into a playground for new alliances, radical softness, and bold questions: Who dreams along? And who needs to be shaken awake?
